Objectives are how we will measure the success of the marketing plan once it is implemented
Strategies address how objectives are to be achieved
Tactics are the specific actions, details, and activities that must occur in order for the strategy to succeed and the objective to be met
Objective 1: Increase patient volume by 25% among nursing students by May 2025.
Strategy 1: Set up an informational booth at the campus center, nursing building, campus events to promote the services offered.
Tactic 1: Have a guest speaker for CAPS talk at nursing orientation prior to the start of the school year.​
Tactic 2: Set up informational booths during SNA events at the school, set up informational booths in campus center during between 11a-2p.
Objective 2: Establish a new social media account with at least 500 followers by May 2025.
Strategy 2: Collaborate with nursing faculty to promote the account in classrooms and through newsletters, and host monthly online events (like Q&A sessions) to drive follower growth.
Tactic 1: Send out information about social media page on the IUSON student portal and “Friday Finish” newsletter.​
Tactic 2: Provide scannable QR code to social media page that are posted in classrooms, nursing lounge, and throughout campus.
Objective 3: Achieve a 40% increase in engagement on social media posts by September 2025.
Strategy 3: Post interactive content such as polls, quizzes, and live sessions addressing common mental health challenges faced by nursing students. Encourage followers to share their experiences and questions.
Tactic 1: Make weekly posts about self-care tips, host live sessions, and polls on social media page.
